Any other day

Any other day

A Poem by Harmony.Txx

pain

Any other day

Today felt like any other day..

walking under the rain.

I looked around and today I noticed,

it felt like yesterday..

 My cloud never leaves, from

adolescence or desperate needs.

I question any love given to me.

This is the way my life was intended,

So sickening?

Surely the world hates me!

Disaster is always calling out for me.

My day is the echo of tomorrow,

maybe this life is all a dream…

Gosh, Brianna 🍂

My sadness in feeling your love-kissed "pain" leaves a romantic bard's irresistible notions yearning to hold, comfort, and caress your tender heart's sorrows, until it takes on a gloriously radiant glow.

The wondrous power of your well-struck words, bring to mind another fine poet's.
(a paraphrased excerpt from Poe's "A Dream Within A Dream")
I stand amid the tempest roar
of a surf-tormented shore,
holding there within my hand
tiny grains of golden sand --
how few; yet, how they seep
through my fingers to the deep,
while I weep -- while I weep!
Is all we see or seem
but a dream within a dream?

Then, your own words, so splendidly composed I cannot help but fawn over such deeply abiding emotions skillfully laid upon the page … and, though there have been 119 who came before me, I am stunned to be the first review of this virtual masterpiece in homage to one of life's greatest teachers … pain.

I love how your title caught my eye; most of all, I loved enjoying your captivating poetry!
Always, brighter days ahead, Dear Poetess! ⁓ Richard 🌾
