Dear Dad

Dear Dad

A Story by Harmony Grace

Dear Father,
I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate all you have done for me, and the family.
Even though you feel like you don't do a lot, and are a failure to the family. I would like to say that you love us, want the best for us, and want us kids to suceed in life. I feel that is good enough for me. I feel you are not a failure and that you have done your best. I thank you and praise God for the father he gave us. I respect you, and love you so much. I can't express how proud I am of you! Yes, you have your downfalls, but every does. I am willing and want to over look them and forgive you for any wrong. I love you so much. But God loves you even more!
I don't mind your "Lectures":) I just them as you want to give me advice. I do love to learn and will take your advice willingly and openly. I do love you, respect you, and am very, very proud of you.
          Sincerely,
            Your Daughter

This is very sweet. Of course I don't know the story, but being a father myself, I know I'd be touched by such a letter and would do my utmost to let you know how much I appreciated it. If it's real, I hope it had a positive effect.
