Hard to Forgive,Impossible to Forget

Hard to Forgive,Impossible to Forget

A Poem by Anahat
"

I forgive but never forget because I never want to be hurt the same way twice!

"
Lying here in the bed tonight,
its 4, simply wondering about the fight!
A fight which meant nothing to us,
A fight which has created such a fuss!
What actually happened i think,
Everything flashes by with an eye blink!
Long ago i got you a friend,
Thinking a helping hand he would lend!
Steadily so close you grew,
More closer to himself he drew!
Eventually it turned into Love,
You started flying in the heavens above!
Felt happy for you, high you were flying,
Didnt know in the middle to me you started lying!
In no days you went away,
You pushed me far with each passing day!
Each day I tried coming close to you,
You pushed me away...treated me like a shoe!
All you could see was your love,
You Shut your eyes as if you didnt want to see anything above!
Your sharing of problems with me stopped,
Seeing this to pieces my heart was chopped!
The minute I came to know about your fight,
Got it solved just for you to get back to the light!
Months passed...I subdued the pain,
My tears poured wetter than the rain!
I shouted I screamed nothing was heard,
Felt helpless just like a Featherless bird!
Finding someone you forgot your best friend,
To whom you promised to be with till the end!
Not once thought of her came to your mind,
Not a single day you felt like being kind!
Finally you decided to leave her without a single thought,
Without thinking her unconditional love could never again be bought!
She gathered all her courage to say GudBye,
That was the time you realized it was reality and not a lie!
That was too late for her to trust again,
All her love and care had been thrown into vain!
You want her to come back again,
To suffer again the same pain!
She realized that unbiological sisters, that Us , that best friendship was all a joke and a lie,
Which was short lived...while moving on she has to fly!
With a very heavy heart she decided to move on,
To never look back...n live like shez a newly born!

Welcome friend!
Though this poem is written in Internet short cut language, I understand it. I think that people are trying to add more shortcut words to the English language to make it faster for them to communicate through electronic media. Sometimes relationships go sour, and we can't get out of the abyss that we have fallen into. Here’s another inspired gift poem for you:

Oh, please forgive me
oh, my darling.
though I’m terrible and bad.

If you look, you’ll see
that I’m hurting.
Why should fighting drive us mad?
