Shattered wall

Shattered wall

A Poem by Cal Liar

Twelve sleepless nights
Fourteen voices saying not to go
Rolling out
Pain filled sauntering
Eighteen window panes broken
With glass tied to my legs and shards caressing my neck
They follow me and the it was heard
Very faintly
Crack
My skin boiled
Faces jeered
Horns enveloped my frail ears
Fire spurted from my mouth
A singing blaze
And my eyes were scourged red
Crack
My body chilled
And mind awhirl
Tears dripped and stained like blood
The whispers of death sing to me
Crack
Rancor strikes
Fury blazes
Crack
Sniffles grow
Crack
Rage blows
Crack
Tears flow
Crack
The rift breaks
My heart aches hateful sorrow
And shattered the wall becomes
