Loop

Loop

A Poem by Cal Liar

The ringing
The endless ringing
The torment
The devilish torment
That teases my hope
That destroys my faith
And that kills my want
But when clam it soothes
It cues
The ringing
Ringing that haunts
Ringing that flaunts it's satire existence
It burns my
It churns my
Yet it still yearns for my
My what
My life
My mystery
My motives
My demons
My defense
My little fortune
My heart
Harken
It's dread
The repetitive dread
That marinates hatred
My hatred
My mourning
Suffering
The insufferable suffering
That drives greed
Corrupts the creed
But presents the need for change
If that isn't strewn
The ringing
The torment
The mindless forthcomings
That trickle down my worth
And adds to the girth
The girth of the beasts that shredded my flesh and slit my back
And the girth of the idiocy that I bear
And girth I dare not share
So the ringing loops
The repetitive
Hypnotic loop that tore down my mind
And cracked my shattered wall
