Boy meets Girl

If you knew of a boy who dated a girl,

Met her while pregnant, the father absconded

Changed everything to stand beside and raise the child

Two years pass, no intimacy yet birthed

Girl claims to be gay and non sexual

Girls temperature raises with every new clothing kiosk girl born

Boy crumbles in the need of affection and falls into arms of another

Though wishing all the way that the arms belonged to the girl

Returned from temptation hoping jealousy may have awoken girl

A year passed still no affection from girl

So they break up as now girl says affair caused lack of intimacy

Though it never existed at all, girl jumps in bed with another man

Couple get back together; girl goes cold no intimacy again

Girl claims to be gay and non sexual

Couple split again after boy succumbs to temptation once more

Girl jumps in the bed with another man

The new mans name sparkles in her eyes

More than ever flickered for the boy

Only a few months pass girl finds another man

Girl falls pregnant again

So I start to wonder

If a poll was made, and the question posed

Would you think the girl gay and non sexual?

Or just not interested in the boy

If a poll was made and the question asked

Could you understand the pain the boy felt in her presence?

Could you understand how strong that pain is to have led him to walk from his son?

If a poll was made and the question asked

Would you understand how the boy felt used and cheated?

Could you see how empty and lifeless he has become?
