Illusions

Illusions

A Poem by Arlen

A wise man told me the world's illusion

People hiding inside to stay in seclusion

Beneath this surface the truth shall rise

It's a costume party, we're all in disguise

We're all interconnected like a wireless device

Think about what's been said not once but twice

This game depends upon our random choices

Will we play or surrender to the voice?

Living in a time dying phase of 3-D illusion,

Will we shift to the 4th, or stay lost in confusion?

Reality can only be percieved partially
We draw our personal conclusions
based upon our own delusions
What we see or think we see
Which may or may not be
only fleeting illusions.
Flawed by false incusions
Do we see what we want to see/
