Very Short storyA Story by Samantha TaylorNever finished this, just a scene that popped into my head "am I supposed to be scared now? " a smirk stretching across her face. The barrel of the gun pointed straight at her forehead. She didn't know this boy, his dusty blood hair, and blood shot; sky blue eyes. She knew he was on something. A woman to her right whimpers, hiding behind a stack of magazines. "check me. I don't have any money for you to take. " she continues to mouth off. The store clerk peeks over the counter. Still she never looks him in the eyes just down the black barrel. "well what are you waiting for p***y! Pull the f*****g trigger damn it. Are you just going to stand there? Quit wasting my time. " she goes to walk away as she can hear sirens coming. "Don't move!" he demands. "oh so you're gonna be a "man" now? " she continues to taunt him. The veins in his neck buldges and she's starting to piss him off. "listen here kiddo. " she smiles. "I have held a gun to my own head for years, and I never had the guts, so I know for a f*****g fact that you don't. " the gun falls a little pointing more at her chest now. "are you gonna do what I've tried to do for years or are you going to keep wasting my pathetic life, although it seems it's not as pathetic as yours. What are you on? Crack? Meth? You can't be older than 17 for Gods sake. " fingers twitch on the trigger. Her heart stops for a second just as she hears a loud bang. "he did it... " she chokes on her breath, eyes locked with the boy's as gravity seems to kick in and she watches him fall to the ground. Cops swarm in Chaos breaking into the silent store. Shes dragged out until her eyes loose sight of his. *hes dead.. * ripping her arm from the cops she pretends to walk toward an ambulance like the cop ordered, instead she slips into the huge crowd that's formed and runs as fast as she can to escape the chaos.
