Mr. Traveler

Mr. Traveler

A Poem by Leindor
"

A song formed in my head when I thought about what kind of relationship I wanted - what kind of partner in love I needed. The image of a beach and ocean filled my mind, and that was me.

"

Come mold me

In your hands

Like I’m soft sand

From some jagged coast

In some far off dreamy land

Let me be your shore

And I’m sure

I could be more

For your parched soul

Oh, I know

Mr. Traveler

Dive into my waves

Let me wash over you

And pull you past my break

You can come up for air

I’ll be droplets in your hair

Tread my waters

While you drift farther

Come sail me

On your raft

That you craft

From my palm trees

Let it bring you peace

While we rock away

For a hundred days

And I’m sure

We could drift some more

Mr. Traveler

Travel ‘cross my waves

Let me crash over you

Promise me you’ll stay

You can chart your course

And I’ll reflect the night

Travel my waters

While I stretch farther

Oooooh

Far as the eye can see

Oooooh

Long as that eye's for me

Oooooh

My promise is crystal clear

Aaaaah

As long as you're floating here

Mr. Traveler

Travel 'round no more

I am your ocean

Claim the home upon my shore

You may rest here

Peace to hold the fear

Set your eyes on

Our horizon....

I think this would make a great song. I honestly would love to hear it with the melody you thought up.
