A poem about my attempts to stay positive

The Importance of Positivity

 

My trials will not break me

Until that day when I am completely alone

And I decide to end it all.

I have academic struggles

 Where my home will be in the near future I don’t know

And I have to pass a stupid driving license

My father hates me

And I have a disability

I have no money

No children

No car

No job

No property

No girlfriend

And I have friends I don’t trust

And soon according to my father I am going to have to abandon all of my worldly belongings

Yes I’m suicidal

And I feel like giving up

I’m close to ending it all

But when my disability decides to leave me alone, I get flashes of positivity

However, then it’s back to contemplating having to leave my home in Dubai

Paradise…

Heaven…

Safe, warm, and nice.

I try to be positive and I really am trying to maintain that.

What would you do?

When I get those flashes of positivity…

I’m not worried anymore 

Therefore, it’s my goal to try and stay positive 24/7
