Leave me with my sin.
Leave me here to die.
Take away my innocence,
and leave me here to lie.
Lie to those who helped me,
and lie to those who cared.
To you, I am faltered.
but inside I'm gone.
Inside I am writhing,
with pain the same as pleasure.
Inside, I can't take it!
The days pass me by
and the pain just seems to mutate,
grow, spread, and I fear...
Fear that this is life.
That it doesn't get any better.
While I write I smile,
and before....and after....
I smile.
How can I truly love.
How can any other compare?!
I need to hold on.
I'll never let go.
You left me with my sin.
And you will never come back...

But I will cherish the very thought of you,
    Because letting go,
                  Is worse.
