Dark Light

Dark Light

A Poem by Savannah Gossett

Birds may chirp
And she may cry
Flowers have bloomed
And she has died
In this darkness
Called her soul
There is light
But not seen
In her eyes you see light
But in her heart she sees pain
In her wounds you see pain
In her wounds she sees faith
But yet again
Birds may chirp
And she may lie
But in this whole
There is life
