Numbs and feels

The feels.

It's what drives me to do.

To do the things I never wanted to.

Because I want to just feel.

I need to feel.

I won't be numb. I won't be numb.

That's what I tell myself everyday.

And yet, I cannot know.

It felt like knowing is not good for me.

Knowing how to feel.

And at the same time, being felt by others.

Am I happy? Am I sad? Am I lonely?

Guess I'll never know.

Except to want.

The wanting to feel something.

The feels of feeling something.
