Roof of the world... Himalayas are one of the most fascinating marks of beauty on the face of earth.
The heritage of beauty with snow and ice . At the crown of India the Himalayas lies .
The mother of rivers , Abode of snow , at height there is silence while flowers at low .
Nearest to sea level at shivaliks reside , light hearted tribal people with small eyes .
Along with roads at height glib streams flow down . Animals grazing at top never looking at ground .
Above them , more meters few , Middle Hills will give their gorgeous view .
the mixture of opposite you will find warmth and cold both combined . the tree guardians of mountains look white and green , like a green haired woman In her old age’s stream .
in every part of day there’s beauty with might from the colorful sunrise till the middle of night .
at the topmost height , challenge at first sight a region of danger where people loose their life covered with snow the beauty survive
Created by a collision , many ages it has seen it will continue to be a legend which it always has been
I've read poems in Sanskrit on Himalayas. Although yours is in English, if it be translated into Sanskrit, it can almost equal a classical, divine-sublime poem. Excellent imagery, flow. You've done enough justice through your description to our legendary Himalayas. Could be better though. It's a pleasure to recite this poem.
I love the rhythm of your poem and also the flow of your words, they compliment each other in such a way that allows your reader to experience its beauty. :)
This was an amazing flow of beauty and living energy. The essence of those mountains shine through in your words and takes the reader into a moment where the vision reaches out to the horizon. I loved the way you set up your lines and kept things simply, yet wonderfully detailed all in the same moment. Great Ink!
:) My close friend, Babbi, was born at the foot of the Himalayas. This reminds me of hims speaking about his home. Brought many lovely pictures to mind. And, I love the idea expressed in your final stanze.....yes, it was her, and amazing when we got here, and it will be there, and amazing, long after we're gone. Love that.
Nice to see someone inspired by landscape, thank you for writing this down, you get across your passion for your subject very well. Keeping working at it.
I've never been to the Himalayas, but the way you express how it looks paints a beautiful image in my mind. Although there are a couple of spelling errors, nothing was too far off in spelling to render it unfathomable. The second to the last stanza was by far my favourite, it's hard to explain, it just is. Wonderful job!
when the beauty of the physical phenomenon is reflected in the words, and the strings of the heart deftly drawn by the writers "bow", then the music of the soul is preciously sweet. Such a piece you have written here and i am pleased to be sharing it. Though your rhyme scheme varies slightly in the later stanzas the overall effect is still delightful. I admire the way you evoke images as artfully as many far more experienced writers.
Great imagery, I felt like I was actually looking at the Himalayas. Your flow was completely on point, which made your rhyme scheme brilliant to the readers eye and mind. Flawless write, I enjoyed reading!
