![]() House Of MiceA Poem by Boldpen![]() Mice are animals that are found nearly everyone on this planet. But at some places... they are the ruling species.![]() My home is not very nice rather call it "House Of Mice" You can see them, roaming about or just in a group, hanging out. Little nose, twinkling eyes In every wall, their hole lies In silent room, hear them squeak Then and Now, at you they peek Vegetables, Toast, Fruits and meat On everything, they like to feast Phone book, shoes, soaps and letter they digest every matter In every fabric, they make holes Trousers, socks, Shirts and Strolle In strength, they are very rich they take away a whole sandwich They open boxes and containers they steal my knives and strainers They break and rock the whole house A whole army, like Jerry mouse They climb on your head while you are sleeping From cupboard to cupboard you see them leaping They take with them, all our mittens They are bigger than little kittens A new specie of Domestic Rats I saw them, one day, hunting a cat! To poison, their stomach is immune Like they have some heavenly boon On whistling cooker, they try to ride In boiling soup, they try to suicide Mice - Mice, everywhere It has become a nightmare So, I arrange a worship tray and to God, Now I pray, 'Let it continue in next life but next time, with a different case, Let mice be men, owner of the house, Let me be mouse, who rules the place.' © 2011 BoldpenAuthor's Note
