Run

Run

A Poem by Hannah

You run relentlessly in my dark twisted maze,
and stumble  through the dark cruel branches in a dream like haze.

You notice the black night swallowing the stars in the sky,
and the eerie glow of the moon glaring at you like an eye.

Demons are concealed in the menacing shadows spraying poison like fire,
their evil inhuman behavior makes the situation dire.

The intimidating bushes threaten to consume you in  a deadly embrace,
but you continue to run bravely in this dangerous cruel race.

I realize now who are my real friends,
so now the story involving them ends.

No one is supporting me, but I knew you would.
So I will be as kind to you as anyone could.

The girl that messed with you wasn't me.
It was a psycho insane person who I try not to be.

I thank you for everything and with you I have fun,
so keep on sprinting through the maze . . continue to run.

This is a rather intriguing poem… I take it that it's about friendship? :)
