GuiltA Poem by HannahA shard of icy glass plunged deep
into your heart, Piercing the internal, tangible
pain, ripping you apart. With each silent whisper, induces
the agonizing pain, Tearing so softly like the sting
of a piercing rain. The pain is a cruel comfort the
justice to a malicious crime, The pain us a permanent memory
etched into the tortured body of time. The pain is a consuming weight
forcefully intertwining you with chains, Yet the pain is a forgotten guilt
enacting the deepest of forgotten pains. Guilt is a manipulating force
which invades your perturbed mind, Murdering your weary conscious in
a deathly, fatal bind. The liar trapped within you is a
deceptive, sadistic creature Which tortures your feeble limbs
and contorts every insignificant feature. The false words that slip from
your tainted lips, the memories in your wavering eyes, Are a reflection of the truth, concealed
by your deceitful lies. You brush your dark, cold lips
with the caress of your finger, Constantly confined in the past
were your horrific memories linger. You lay curled up blissfully
beneath him, as you lie to the one you love, You embrace your dishonesty and
return his naïve smile above, You are a disease which infects
with merciless, endless assaults, Yet this nightmare you have
contrived is a source from all your faults. You are worthless and filthy,
your body is a mess, How is it possible to perceive yourself
as anything less? Your weakness distorts your intention;
your life is a lie, Your existence is a curse on
humanity, you deserve to die. A relationship is simple, to
intertwine one heart with the essence of your own, Not to embrace the infinite dark
where his heart you have thrown. © 2013 Hannah |
