Grip

Grip

A Poem by Hannerr.

to grip; to hold on.
to grip; to not let go.
to grip; to refuse to release.

grip?

I lost that a long time ago, now.
I lost it on people,
On normality,
On my whole world.

But most importantly of all,
We lost grip,
The functioning dysfunction,
On what meant the most.

We lost our grip on each other,
Though it wasn't our fault,
And now there's

nothing

we

can

do.

This is such a fantastic read. I really love the ending!

Interesting, I've had very similar thoughts to this. Well-said, though the bit at the end threw me off with the words being scattered like that. I'd try playing around with the placement of them on the page, but I like the visual style you were going for =]
