The City Of Ruins

The City Of Ruins

A Poem by Between_A_Dream

She walks.

Melted towers above

And burning stone below.

Her lungs scream in pain

Her feet cry in sorrow.

But she knows she can't stop

And her heart can't be borrowed.

So she walks.

Short and solemn with a vivid imagery, superb musicality, and a powerful narrative! Well done!
