The Black Widow

The Black Widow

A Poem by Marchosias D'Azreal

Black widows always weave,

A web so beautiful, but the leaves,

Always wreck and cleave.

Her venom, is in a word, poison,

Too bleakful, but the sun,

Shining down, sheds some light when she's done.

Never has the world seen,

A plague so great, so obscene,

Playing out the tragic scene.

Never know, never glean.

Very nice poem. I love your choice of words to describe the venom and the web.

Hello. :D This flows well...Selena. I hate spiders. However I like this poem. It shows imagery, in a way. You can kind of picture the spider, what it's doing. Anywho great job. Great poem. Keep writing! :P
