Three Demons Coming

Three Demons Coming

A Poem by Hannah Cordell
"

A person a vaguely know is obviously hiding so much inside without faith of progress for the better. God bless her, and anyone who is struggling, there is hope and light. You must find it.

"

One chance, will you take it?

One day, will you break away?

One wound, will you let it heal?

One ghost, will it change you?

Three demons controlling you,

Four people left in the room,

Five jewels left,

Six hours remain,

Will you stay human?

Will you be the strong one you are,

Will you end up shrinking down to the child inside,

Will you wash away all pitiful sins,

Will you take away the pain.

Wash your face little darling,

'Cause there’s a new dawn here

It’s calling your name,

Oh, but you didn’t hear,

I don’t know if it’ll free you,

I don’t if they will finally find your heart,

Will you let them get to your still strong and pretty core,

Will you let them in your heart

Or have you already let them start?

Are they real when open your eyes,

From their perspective you are always a child,

You can’t hide from them,

They are inside you,

Little child hiding in the corner,

Stones flying towards you,

Will you cover head or let them kill you

They are demons too big to be inside of you

Let yourself go so they might now follow,

Find love and find happiness.

Oh, demons inside of you

You have let them defeat you

Can you bust out of their prison,

will you and be the one victor?

I don’t know.

But baby girl, won’t you run

Won’t you run,

To where there’s no pain,

Please, run away! To a safe place,

Can you run away?

You will be in the darkness soon,

Yes darling any given day,

He always asks you,

Do you want your wings some day?

I say to you in the corner,

You can be the savior of the beaten

All of those like yourself,

Lead them to redemption,

Lead them all to Him
