Crazy World

The first line of each stanza is a line from a beautiful song called 'Crazy World'.

“Crazy world, full of crazy contradictions”
One minute bright,
The next minute dark.
Everything is light,
Then nothing is a lark.

“First you drive me wild, then you win my heart”
The sight of you enrages me,
Then I can’t live without you.
You’re all I want to see,
Then there’s no more we can do.

“One minute gentle, then temperamental as a summer storm”
Today we share a meal,
Tomorrow you go.
Today we are real,
Tomorrow is for show.

“Every day, the same old roller-coaster ride”
You switch on and off;
You’re warm then you’re cold.
You snort, then you scoff;
You can be good as gold.

“I won’t give in, even though I know I’ll never win”
Still I live with it
For I love you so.
You and I fit,
Tied like a bow.

“Oh, how I love this crazy world”
The contradictions are fun;
They keep us on our toes.
We’re the moon and the sun,
And this crazy world glows.
