Her

Her

A Poem by Hank Writes

I want her, I love her

She shouldn’t break me…

But she does

I am happy, I am strong

I don’t need her…

Or do I?

I open up, I invite her in

I won’t chase her…

Once I catch up

I deserve this, I am worthy

She couldn’t be bothered…

And it is not her fault

I am far, I miss her

I shouldn’t wonder…

If I matter at all

I forgive her, I won’t forget her

Someday she will see…

I hope she will see

The questions of love.

Love is hard and rarely is easy to find. Nice flow of thought left the reader with something to think about. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
