Adolescence (the boy)A Poem by Shirohanathis is about a twin that tries to accept their partner's matureWe’re
twin We
always together I’m as
your knight, And
you’re the princess We sleep
in the same bed Our hand
holding together No need
mirror to combing my hair You’ll
do it to me And I’ll
comb your hair Your
really soft hair Playing
with you as knight And
you’re the princess Our
creaking bones are bells that announce We
should continue our story later We ever
promised That the
two of us will always dance together But,
it’s turn a lie As
you’re growing mature Now, we
can’t reflected the same again Our difference
is can be seen clearly In the distorted mirror, with hands folded Our fingers are not having same length Our
parent separated us But,
before you sleep I’ll
come to your room Just to
say “good night” to you As I turn the doorknob And open the door And grab the edge of my clothes I turn
my body as you grab my clothes Grab
your hand and knelt down I kiss
your extended fingers In that
instant an impulse runs through my spine I bring
you to the bed and about to turn off the light But, you
take a pillow and shout “no!” I
giggles a bit, “you’re suck a baby, my princess” Your
watery eyes, however, hinting to me something different As I
silently lock the door Our
gazing pupils are looking for an answer Cuddling
you, hug you tight Your
body temperature breaks open my lock I erase
my childish Excuse together
as I turn off the light Stopping
the time As we
embrace tightly Your warm
hug And your
melting hot breath I won’t
make any further move If I’m
your knight © 2013 ShirohanaAuthor's Note
