It’s February here in Ontario and there’s not a flake of snow on the ground and the norm is to have a couple feet of it. As much as I enjoy the beauty of a snowflake, I will not shed any tears if ‘none’ show up again this season :)

I enjoy winter while it's here, but I wouldn't mind if spring showed up. Thank you for reading.

I can actually smile and enjoy the outdoors, you know, build a snowman etc. But the minute i go back inside i prefer it just melt away so i can enjoy the memory :)

Gentle in tone and style and descriptive in its brevity. These short poems are the perfect pieces to write when one is searching for greater inspiration and the next epic poem.
A gentle little poem, painting a lovely scene. It is good to appreciate each season. I am curious, though, to know more about the family gathered on the white mountaintop.

We just had a huge snowstorm. For all the difficulties it
caused, power outages, traffic snarls, schools being closed,
for me there is still nothing more beautiful than seeing the
tremendous pine, just outside our kitchen window, decorated
with gorgeous drifts of snow on its' boughs.
Thank you for the scene you portrayed.
Take care - Dave
