Like photographs, what we see in mirrors rarely reflects how we see ourselves. But perhaps that is a good thing, otherwise, I would be walking around all day thinking I am twelve, and thin. It's only catching sight of myself that makes me act like a grown up...sometimes :)

I like your thoughts on the topic. Thank you for reading and leaving your thoughts.
Very interesting write - your poetic 'reflection' certainly makes the reader ponder the mirror's image - the laterally reversed world - does it show our inner self or perhaps something even deeper - nice share my friend ... :-)
Never was a poem so clear as clear, Hannah - four brief phrases that could make a giant epic of every emotion ever was.. mind you, we all interpret lies differently. Re-read and i realise just how much depth you've managed to pack in.. brilliant!

It's true, how i read, felt..and learn by- strangely!
the simplicity of this is great. and it is powerful because everyone can relate. what you accomplished with this poem is difficult, in my opinion. i say difficult because of how you managed to satisfy and entice with so few words.

"pointing out my every flaw.
You make me scream and cry"
This poem gave me the feels... It was really good! It was short but very relatable. I struggle with anxiety and depression and it sucks. It's something I'll have to deal with my whole life. But where my source of joy comes from is writing. It helps me understand who I am and what I go through. These words are very real feelings that are very common in todays world. You are an extremely talented writer/author and I just want to let you know that, whenever you are going through something difficult or it just seems to much, just write! It will help you and others around you.
Your writing is incredible and keep up the incredible work!
If you want to, could you read my story, "the blonde girl," you don't have to if you don't want to, I just felt like I should share it with you.
Your friend,
C. Lee Battaglia

:) You're welcome. And thank you for the kind words and for reading my story. I appreciate it!
Staring in the mirror can be an intimate and personal place. So personal that it's almost shameful to stare for so long. What we see is what we get, and we choose to accept or not. Lovely writing. 😊

I like your thoughts on the topic. Thank you for reading and leaving your thoughts.
what you have written in this poem is very true and i'm blown away, to see that in a few sentences you've summed up what you wanted to say! Very few writers can do that and your one them that can!!!!
KEEP IT UP!
