Lonely road...

Lonely road, the one I never showed

a look in the mirror, stark, no one can see me...I'm dark

my day's light now ran over by constant night

teacup in hand can't move from where I stand

 

Poet's creed, write that which makes you bleed

sacred words from a mouth that goes unheard

with pen in hand, thoughts, will you understand

mind spiraled, a once good heart has been defiled

 

Mangled life, where love has become strife

are you blind...unable to see the pain of my mind

dark secret and ink won't keep it

no longer mortal death has closed life's portal

 

19th day of November, one they will remember

cold, storm-infused day...finds me where I lay

walked into the ocean, dizzy, beaten by un-ruly emotion

frozen, glassy hazel eyes never again hearing your lies....
