Destiny mine...

Destiny mine...

A Poem by Hanan_Maliah
"

This is dedicated to a friend who asked what I see...it took 7 minutes to write this for him!

"

Destiny mine, not a game, just life

my two children live with a woman I called wife

this is the hand dealt to me; card by card

nothing worth having comes easy but damn this is hard

it's not that I mind the two jobs I hold

but to always be shut down, it's just cold

I hope for the sake of God that they someday know

I did it for the love of them both never for show

grow up and become wise, praying they see me as "Dad"

just try to realize no matter what's said...I'm not bad

day and night, night and day, I'll work my fingers to the bone

not really caring so much so long as they have a home

trying my best to teach my boys how to keep from doing wrong

setting examples hoping they hold their heads up...staying strong

these are just words but they come from my heart

so hold onto them when it looks bad...they can't keep us apart!

About
Simple...I love to write! Some it may please and then some I am sure it won't, but this is why one of my favorite quotes from a particular book is "Approval not required or Desired!" I do appreciate .. more..
