Everyone goes through tough times. However, we remain unknown to the world when we are asked how we are doing? We lie about our emotions. However, that alone is our cry for help.

If only my tears could tell you my story.

My story of fear,
My story of sadness and despair,
Of feeling lost and scared.

If only my tears could tell you the days and nights of secret hidings in which I weep to my hearts content.
Yet, the heart can only take so little.

The salty tears that trickle down my worn cheeks.
Of all the fake smiles I put up just to show you the exterior.

But my inner is what should intrigue the one who looks into my warm eyes.
Because if only you knew what my tears could tell you.
