Lost in youA Poem by Hana SaemonJust something for my partner who thinks I am no longer as smitten as before. which is not true. Cancer has a great way of playing with your emotions, and it is playing with his.Lost in you I love how
that makes me feel How you
make me laugh Even those
times you make me want to kill
Lost in you I love how
I can stare into your eyes Or sit next
to just reading Yet never
wanting to say goodbye
Lost in you I love the
small little things you do The morning
kisses and coffee And how
sometimes you smell like baby poo
Lost in you I love how
comfortable I am with you And that you
still call me beautiful Even
without make up and the glittery glue
Lost in you I love how
we are Although
there are much you don’t remember We have
gone so far
Love is not
just the cuddles The hugs
and kisses The stars
that twinkle The bells
that jingle
Love is
more than just all that Love is
when you wake up next to me Love is
when I’m rushing and you have my coffee ready Love is when
even in silence, it’s quality
Being in
love is not like those Hollywood movies It is more
than just being smitten It is still
wanting to make sure you’ve eaten Even after
a long big argument
Being in
love is being lost in you Appreciating
every single moment together Because
even grocery shopping with you Is like going
on an adventure
Maybe my
hugs and kisses Do not come
as hard and fast as before But that
does not mean That I don’t
want you anymore
Baby,
sometimes love grow And it is
shown in different ways I love and
am still in love with you And it has
only grown since the first day © 2013 Hana SaemonAuthor's Note
