Starcrossed LoversA Poem by Hana SaemonTumour affects behaviours and loved ones can turn into strangers. Through the battle, you'll learn that all is possible as long as there's love, hope, patience, understanding and good communication.
As the gunfire ceased
And the dust surrounding settled Along the dark silent road Bits and pieces lay scattered Fragmented memories Of what used to be Blowing in the wind Falling carelessly The dark night continued The future still unknown Threading silently Through the remains of bones and stones And just at it seems Like all that's loved is gone A whiff of hope appeared At the very first light of dawn A touch that's so familiar A place that feels like home Safe again in the presence Of a love that's only grown A senseless battle was fought A lesson that was served For granted, it can't be taken Not even the best of love 'Cause even the best they fall Like that pair of starcrossed lovers Twas' a love that could have been If only Romeo had talked to her © 2013 Hana SaemonFeatured Review
