There is an urgency in your staccato lines....propeling the reading from one thought to the next with ease. Not sure if I am reading you correctly, but it seems that the love of your life might have some medical problems that make memories come and go. Through it all, love survives....it endures...and that is what makes life worth living. Your poetry is always fresh and new and even if you write 200 plus three, you will have people reading and enjoying your work. This was wonderful. Lydi**

Yeah, my partner has brain tumour, and he has lost his memory 9 times. but each and every time, somehow, he will find his way back to me (a connection). once, when he totally didnt even know who i was, he said "i feel like i know you. when i look into your eyes, it feels like home". i knew that whatever it is, i will stick by his side no matter what. it does get difficult at times, because he gets frustrated understandably. and whenever it gets difficult, i write and remember how we are actually so lucky to have each other, cause i know if it was the other way around, he will do the same for me. im blessed and i just want to capture that in my writing. the best part about WC is that i "record" the events, and each and every time, he reads about how ive been feeling about him since the beginning (some of the poems i wrote before i joined WC, and i just put it up here when i joined a month back). so WC is kinda like a diary of sorts for me too. and the people here are just lovely! :) thank you so much for your kind words. i really appreciate it!
A delightful little poem to read, short but great use of words to convey the feeling of the story and I always particular enjoy anything with a streak of fun and lightheartedness running throughout and this has it in abundance !
Quality !

Very clever... I love the wordplay in this one, and the way that it was written in a somewhat "frenzied" style, which adds to the feeling of an unbridled romance. I also like the way you pose the semi-question "a cliche this might be/a little tiresome probably", because i've felt this way about some of my own work--are people tired of me yet? I don't think so, and I didn't think this was tiresome or cliche at all, it was honest and emotionally charged. Nicely done.

Those simple phrases invoke a faceless montage of two people doing exactly those things, as part of the overall timeline of the poem, the whole gamut from first encounters to intimate moments to the inevitable trials & tests of love. :)

I try to capture everything because with his memory loss, im the only one that remembers it all - the beginning. But each and every memory loss creates a new beginning and im thankful for that too, because the feeling of "falling in love" is wonderful. It's always a new day with him, but i reserve a special place in my heart for that first beginning. Thank you for reading and for your kind words :)
I love the way you paced this! Reading it I began to get breathless.
Then , you slowed it down, and grounded it. Just like life, and love. Fabulous!

This is a beautiful rant Hana, a real testament to true love, enduring, overcoming, superseding and rising above and beyond loves four letter restrictions. Another well penned, heartfelt and emotionally charged write.
