SeasonsA Poem by Hana SaemonCancerous night
The seasons all too quickly flee
Those times we spent in summer glee Gave way to chilly autumn cold Now snow waters the florists' gold Rainy, sunny, seasonal weather They came, they went, four times over Seasons metamorphosed along with you Once, thrice and then it grew I won't lie to you and say There'll be no grey gloomy days Sometimes, the clouds cover the sun And darkness creeps in when the day is done It is easy to fly away So easy to run astray It is even easier to fold When the nights, they get too cold I can't promise to hold up the sun I can't promise it'll all be fun I can't promise all butterflies I can't promise the flowers won't die I am only human, so you see That there is only one of me At times I need some support too So darling, please help me and I'll help you As seasons, they rotate and change One promise has always remained Whatever the weather, dark or blue Mist or heat, I'm here with you
