The Black Hole, the Grinch, the Tin Man and the Cancer cellA Poem by Hana Saemon
A black hole with no feelings
No emotions or empathy No guilt streaming Through that void where the heart is supposed to be. Like the Grinch, A heart two sizes too small, Or rather, the tin man With no heart at all. Treating humans like toys Once outgrown and bored Throw it out, Or keep it and let it rot. Humans are graded, An eight or a ten, Judged by your standard, Has to be a perfect ten. A cancerous cell, That grows and grows, Eating life away, Blow by blow. No words can describe you, Not even the most horrible word in the dictionary, And that is why at night, You cry to sleep alone in misery. © 2013 Hana SaemonReviews
