All My thoughts Now

If only you could read my thoughts roaming though my head.

All those thoughts just roaming,

Like a dog running through meadow after meadow

How could you do this to me?

You told me life was worthwhile.

You told the words all the time.

Now when I sit in my room,

Can I wonder what ran through your mind?

Can I believe when you said you were fine?

Can I worry just a little bit about you?

Everyone looks to me and cheers.

You just rolled your eyes and sneered

In their eyes I am gold.

In yours im ice cold.

What were your thoughts roaming in your mind?

All the thoughts now roaming though mine,

Why can’t people just stop telling me what to do?

You blab you mouth like you’re the king.

I am Me

Your mouth don’t need to speek.

You want me to be this bright shining sun,

When I just want to be a shiny blue star.

Is this one thing you were feeling?

People run around with their heads cut off

Getting in business they just don’t belong

You make fun of me while I am there.

I just smile and laugh

Inside I feel hurt, my heart is bleeding.

Why am I just all alone?

Why am I going through the pain tonight?

I just can’t take this anymore.

All the Words, The expectations

Just let me be me,

Let me fallow my own paths.

 Why couldn't I read your mind?

Maybe, Just maybe.

You would be by my side

Hugging me and telling me what you say.

Knowing were just fine.

That your not in heaven.

Only God knows why.

If only I could make you shine,

I would make the world shine on you.

Only If I could read your thoughts,

That’s roaming through your mind.

Now roaming through mine.

People tell you what to do because they want to feel like they made a difference, but if you think you don't need help with something, you should tell them.
And if someone is treating you the way you described in this poem, you should probably tell them you just can't take it anymore and that they should stop doing that. If they don't stop, screw them then.
The point is - speak your mind.
For example, my friend used to treat me like crap sometimes and I always got pissed off...so I told him I couldn't take it anymore and that it was only a matter of time before I punched him in the face. He got the message and stopped being an a*****e, and we're still very good friends. :)

I don't know. Some thoughts could get you in trouble. I like this poem. Remind me of a Willie Nelson song. "If you could read my mind." Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry.

This was very powerful. I think this would do great in a poetry slam. Just fix the part where it talks about the dog running through the meadows. Instead of saying meadows say "Like a dog running through meadow after meadow."
I really liked it though :)
