Only If You Could Read Thoughts

Only If You Could Read Thoughts

A Poem by Hana Linzi

If only you can read my thoughts,
maybe you would know what to say.
All those endless night,
Wondering if anyone even cared.
You told the words all the time.
You told me life is always There.
Now when I sit in my room,
Can I wonder what ran through your mind?
Can I believe when you said you were fine?
Can I worry just a little  bit about you?
What was your thoughts roaming in your mind?
Why did you make all these thoughts roam through mine.
Everyone said's you can get through life.
Then why did I have to weep my tears away last night?
Why am I just all alone?
Why am I going through the pain tonight?
Why couldn't I read your mind?
Maybe, Just maybe.
You would be by my side
Hugging me and telling me what you say.
Knowing were just fine.
That your not in heaven.
Only God knows why.
Only If I could read your thoughts,
Thats roaming through your mind.

I like the questions raised by this poem. Reading another thoughts is a two sided coin. When love and care is involved. Would be good. I like the flow of thoughts and the strong ending. Thank you for the excellent poem.
