Home Is Where Your Heart Is!

Dedicated to all lonely souls, who suffer from lack of social interaction.

Loneliness is a universal human emotion, yet it is both complex and unique to each individual.
Loneliness cannot be quantified but it can be felt by your loved ones. We live in a age where, trust has unfortunately become a historical concept. Primarily due to our self proclaimed busy routines. Although, your parents, your siblings and your true friends would always make some time for you.

Loneliness is generated due to a lack of social interaction in our life. We are not surrounded by the people who understand us. It's a state of mind which leads to depression, anxiety and a feeling of insecurity. The thing is that, we start expecting gratitude and time from many so called friends and family members, only to be trashed because it's not coming. We bind ourselves to people's emotion only to be backstabbed by the same people. It's a harsh world, nobody cares about your problems, your damn life is not worth a penny to them. People will use you like a plastic bag and throw you away when they're done.

Despite, the moments in which we are broken and alone, some people would always be there for you. Your parents would support you even if they have to lower their living standards. They will love you like none other, help you in your dire needs. Your siblings will always love you and look up to you as a role model. Your friends will back you up when you're down. The people who actually care for you would reply to you, regardless of what time of day it is. It doesn't matter what others think about you, it doesn't matter if nobody asked you how your day went or have you eaten anything, it doesn't matter if this blind world fails to notice the evanescence in your health. There are people who do, who care for you, love you unconditionally, pray for you and will always do.

We need to stop expecting goodwill from everyone whom we treated nicely, the people which we helped in their bad times. The bitter truth is that people mostly remember the negatives. It's okay as it always was and will be.

You cannot counter this phenomenon of feeling alone by yourself. For starters, we need to develop a social circle out of our trusted friends which would be of optimum importance. We need to spend time with our family when we get the chance, not all of us are blessed to have their parents daily for tea time. Love your friends, spend time with them. Enjoy life as it was meant to be. Indulge ourselves, get a habit and live on.

We might be thousands of miles away but love has no boundaries, it can be felt by a swift reply to a text or an unexpected phone call. It's a modern era this one, there are no excuses to keep distances, the only excuse is our lack of will power to do so. It's about time we give the utmost respect to these golden realtions, because honestly they are the driving force in our life. Without them life is a process of eat, study, sleep, repeat. A process with no emotions and no meaning.

Did you know that smiling is contagious?, why don't we smile the next time we meet a lonely friend. The least we could do is make them smile
