Soul-less

Soul-less

A Poem by Hamkar
"

I went into a bit of a haiku frenzy. They aren't supposed to go together and they weren't supposed to sound so dreary. I guess writing takes you that way...

"

the lonely longing

lost in the nostalgia

of scented cupcakes

- - -

memories floating

my soul flits in the vast blue

a vacant feeling

- - -

distancing oneself

infinity is too close

shadowing tears leak

- - -

pictureless thoughts scream

dinosaur tearing apart

my orderly life
