Deep Dreams

Deep Dreams

A Poem by Hamkar
"

I have almost no idea what this is about.

"

Deep Dreams

A silver lining for all

True revealing the lies

Brave only come scared

The wilderness dreams

Distant hopes growing

Told secrets

Sentimental lives

People budding in stories

Others forgotten

Only breath

Only heartfelt selves

Only mind

Mountain breeze

Flowers in a vase

Silent sentences mimicked

Someone please tell me what this is about. I just wrote it and have no idea, almost. By the way, I made up the style a bit like Dinesh. It has 7 syllable lines, 5 syllable lines, and 3 syllable lines. It goes: 7-7-5, 5-5-3, 5-7-5, 3-5-3, 3-5-7. I also think it needs a different title if you have any ideas.

I can identify with the wars in the middle east arena here ..so many familys ..on both sides ..flowers in a vase for the ones in the war and the ones not returning.. the entire land of the fathers in upheval..it says ..we are just the people our religeons tell us what we must offer and loose..let it stop.. "give us respite"....for a title..?

There is an abstract quality to dreams... images we can see but not always fully understand... surreal at times... and you honestly convey that distinctly through your work... Often dreams confess emotion, not information.
