Why Blue?

Why Blue?

A Poem by Hamkar
"

Blue isn't all sad...

"

How is blue sad

When it holds so much?

Bitter blue winters

Shining blue seas

A sprinkling of blue flowers

Dotted against green

How is blue sad

When winter has come?

Icy blue stares

Frosty blue eyes

A warm blue atmosphere

Heating the house

How is blue sad

When blue seas arise?

Roaring lion waves

Sky’s glowing reflection

A happy aura

Radiating the land around

How is blue sad

When flowers grow?

Blue with green

Red with purple

Happy colours without a droop

But blue still stays sad

It does make one wonder why blue is equivalent to sadness. Blue is such a calm color in a flower and the sky is blue...when I look to nature it seems that blue stands for peace and contemplation.

I loved the concept and how creatively the whole poem flowed. Great job.

That was beautiful. I so loved this as blue is my favorite of colours! Great analogies you used here, and all the words you used were beautiful!
