Empty Exploration

What do you search for?

Yourself?

Don’t look hard

And maybe it will come.

What do you search for?

This empty exploration

Without an end

Waiting for a soul

What do you search for?

Inside the mind

Unfolding unsettled memories

Shaping yourself

What do you search for?

History or future?

The present guards the answers

Safe in the moment

What do you search for?

The past to unfurl?

The future to clarify?

You to be alive?

What do you search for?

Sitting in your armchair

Meditating hours on end

Never finishing your search

What do you search for?

You should know it is only

Empty exploration

This is a profoundly moving exploration of the self.. those thoughts that drift across the mind like ships at sea. Wondering and wandering through our psyche.. Excellent insights into the self.. who we are and who we wish to be.

Yes I LOVE it because i think we're ally searching for ourselves within. And this poem is the perfect way to show that.
