Choices

This is a reply to Fallon's poem, The Climbing Ladder.

Choices

 

Our choices make up our life

Almost like a ladder

If you put it wrong

You have to begin all over again

If you take one step back it takes two

To go forward

But the only way to go backwards

Is to have already gone forwards

And the only way to go forwards

Is to go one step at a time

Because if you jump

You may miss           

And it takes time

To get back up to where you were

Our choices make up our life

Almost like a ladder

And mine is tall
