Reflections on Double MeaningA Poem by Marc HamelTo the other being who is my being
Totally other and yet the same,
let me not muddy the waters of my soul, that i may reflect upon you as quickly as a face reflects in still water. With delicate accuracy let me assume your features, your being from my angle! You and i fight, i was wrong. You are kind, see my tears and have mercy, you spoil me, become my flesh! You are the best me there is, giving all to me, how can i not respond? Giving my all to you. It is my nature. I change. The best of myself. One momentary reflection of an ever changing paradox.
