A Mice

A Mice

A Poem by Cassick Dame

The boy was a fool
Broke a heart
But figured he was still cool
Meant to start a better life
Seeking out a gal with a heart
The boy was now on his march
Figuring it was gonna be a paradise
Little die he know he was just scurryin' like mice
One was plated in black armor and piercing blue eyes
He was armed with an act
So he aimed high into the sky
Only to be struck back and bleed
Too stubborn to care
Too lucky to take a prayer
Soon though he did collapse
And now sits
Away and far from the people
With his earned hate
And broken heart
