Silent Night

In the dead of night, in the quiet, sleeping city of London, a shadowy figure strolled through the fog. Alone and silent, he walked through the empty streets. The figures name was Cristo Venceint, pondering his life… He walked, contemplating his personal thoughts… He walked, eyes never leaving the pavement… he walked. He walked to escape his boring home life revolving around tiresome reading and the cold, consistent droning of his old radio.

As he wandered the dimly lit streets he heard nothing but silence. Suddenly, he felt something shatter beneath his shoe, breaking the once, calm and steady ambience of the night. He looked down and saw a small, familiar object. A watch, but not just any watch, a golden Cressier Watch. An expensive, special watch generally only obtained from a spouse during a wedding. This particular watch had a great sense of familiarity for Cristo.

“Why does it look so familiar?” He thought to himself.

He then picked it up to examine it. For a couple of minutes he just stood there; contemplating, thinking, and searching through his memory for a possible identity of who owned this once expensive and beautiful watch.

(Sigh) “Nothing.” He said to himself.

A breeze of cold wind then went across his face. (BRRRRR). He soon decided take it home for further examination, as he continued walking toward his home, he kept wondering whom it had belonged to. When he finally reached his house, he walked up to the doorstep when he heard a faint sound; he turned to see a shadowy figure stare at him with one cold, seemingly cat like eye. The figure then began to flee.

“Wait!” He shouted. However the figure was gone.

“Who on earth was that?” He thought.

He then thought it would be a good idea to get inside. He reached into his pocket to pull out his key. He carefully put it in the keyhole, turned, and the lock clicked open. He then proceeded through the door.

As he entered his home, the smell of dust and apples filled his nostrils.
