Here I come to save the dayyyyyy!!!!

 

I got 24 hrs to write something or face the death of a nation

But WRITERS BLOCK is my kryptonite

Leaving me without the strength to fight

Without the power to protect and serve

Damaging every endless nerve

I wanna touch my people

But I can’t feel!

I can’t taste defeat but I know its coming.

 

I’m paralyzed and barely can open my eyes and see the world we live in

My super-ultra hearing catches the voices of the broken and shattered “keep writing” 

And even hears the doubts as if I ever mattered “quit fighting”

 

It’s hard for me to think!

 

But the creator blesses me with enough power to write this and that’s why I’m considered HalfMan-HalfAmazing.

I love it! The title sets the stage; kryptonite threatens your superman powers, the serious underlying tone with just a dash of humor, makes for a very enjoyable read. Ah, to be the fly fluttering about in the mind of a half man, half amazing creature!
