I

I

A Poem by Half Dream

I succeeded to be the nearest person for so many

I succeeded to be there secrets box

I succeeded to earn there trust

I succeeded to wipe there tears

I succeeded to draw a smile on there lips

I succeeded to correct there mistakes

And convince them

How BEAUTIFUL life it can be

But I failed on doing ALL this to myself!

I feel very kindred to you in reading this writing, I understand it and relate to it on many, many levels. I would take issue with one word, "failed", why is it's past tense as if it's complete with no more story to unfold. Hope in the future. Strong passionate write.

A lot of people can relate to this. Including myself, some people learn to accept it, some people stop doing it. I like seeing people smile, and helping them feel safe too much to not be there when needed. My pillow may have more tears than my sleeve, but that's the way it has to be sometime. I like it, thanks for the read.

A painful, and truthful write. Every person has worth, and you need to find your own. Keep searching until you find that bright light that shines within.

I think I can relate to this a lot, I lose myself in others all the time, and then wonder why i get overwhelmed. Loved it.

Apart from spelling errors I liked your theme. It's much easier to help others clarify their thoughts.Than to tackle ones own faults and flaws
