Someday, I'll See You AgainA Poem by Half Dream
If I see you again,
I would arrogate to the flames, Suffer for you to take away the pain of your soul. I would yell "do not be afraid, everything will be fine " But you no longer listening. In my dreams we stay together, I wait with open arms and a smile To tell you that I loved you so much, It is ironic that you're in a dreamless sleep. I implore your God see to you again, But I'm a sinner and my prayers will not be heard, I would return back to the days to see you again, Hold you in my arms and never let you go. I can not control this! My feelings betray me, No matter how much I whisper to myself, " Everything will be fine " , I know I'm not , it's my sanity that betrays me I lost you and I can only create a fantasy to meet you In this dead silence between meadows of my rotten withered fields and trees. Everything looked better when you were with me Now the sky change color and the night lost its charm And nothing looks the same, Now the rain smiles at me more, It was you who brought out the best of my world. Loneliness weighs more now that you're not in my shadows. © 2014 Half DreamReviews
