You Won't Break Me

A Poem by Half Dream

Sometimes I am the only music I need.
Me, my inner self and my deepest self.
Sometimes, silence is the best medicine.
I like walking alone
As I look around me
I do all my own reflections.
I like to imitate the most absurd details
And I like to laugh alone.
I like when people look at me weird
Because I feel like I'm not like everyone else.
I like the rain
I've discovered that I'm stronger than I thought
That if I want something,
I can get it and I should not let anyone walk all over me.
I've found that I'm brave
And if I put something in my mind
There is no soul that can stop me.

I like the rain
