Hangover

We left off with Josie finding out what really happened last night. Now Josie is getting picked up from Miranda's.

Chapter five

Josie is walking to her father's car from Miranda's.

Josie(stumbles a little)

Mr. Bell:(notices Josie) What's wrong with you, sweetheart?

Josie(worried) What? Oh..nothing dad..I'm just not feeling too great, that's all.

Mr.Bell: Oh. Well, alright. How was your night with Miranda?

Josie(worried if he knows) Uh..It was good. Why?

Mr.Bell: Oh, I don't know I was just wondering.

Josie(sighs) Ohhh. Alright, yeah it was pretty fun.

Mr Bell: Can I ask what you girls did?

Josie(terrified) What? Uhm..oh. We just..watched movies and stuff.

Mr. Bell: Oh, thats good. As long as you weren't getting into any trouble. (laughs)

Josie: Bad? What do you mean?

Mr. Bell: Ha. Im kidding Jo.

Josie: Ohh. Hah. Right. (feels really sick)

Mr. Bell: Are you alright Josie?

Josie: No, not at all. I feel terrible.

Mr. Bell: What is the matter, honey?

Josie: My head is killing me..and my stomach...oh, my stomach!(groans)

Mr.Bell(concerned) Oh, I must get you home quick then. You look awful.

Josie runs up to her room when she gets home.

Ronni walks in.

Josie(plops on her bed, and groans)

Ronni: Wow. You look terrible! What happened to you?

Josie(looks at Ronni and rolls her eyes) What do you think?

Ronni:(laughs) Ha! Did you get drunk or something?

Josie: Ugh. Not funny.

Ronni:(laughs) Hahaha. This is really funny. My perfect sister-Josie, is hung over?!

Josie(gets angry) Ronni! This isn't funny at all! I'm going to throw up. Hurry up get me to the bathroom!

Ronni(carries Josie to bathroom)

Josie(throws up continually)

Ronni:(feels bad) Awe. You really are bad. How about we talk when you're feeling better?

Josie: Sounds great. (continues puking)

Josie is sleeping that night, when Stephen calls her.

9:30 pm.

Josie(so tired,answers) He- Hello?

Stephen: (feels sorry)Hey Jo. How ya feelin?

Josie:(half asleep) Ugh. Terrible.

Stephen: You sound it. I don't mean to bother you, but I really needed to know how you were doing.

Josie:(wakes up) Oh, thanks.

Stephen: Yeah. So did Miranda tell you what happened?

Josie(becomes upset) Yes..she did.(starts crying)

Stephen(feels terrible): Oh, Josie. Please don't cry. Everything will be fine..I promise you.

Josie(sobbing) How do you know, Stephen!? You don't know that! I don't want to go to school..everyone is going to be bothering me! I'm so scared. I hate him..I hate him!

Stephen: Jo, I know. Please stop crying..I'm going to help you.

Josie:(continues crying)

Stephen: Josie. I hit him. I was so angry with him. I hate him too! How he could take advantage of a perfect girl like you, It gets me furious

--No one talks for a minute.

Josie:(stops crying a little bit) Stephen. What do I do?

Stephen: There is nothing you can do..but Josie, you are strong. You can get through anything. I'll always be here for you too..and Miranda. We love you.

Josie(sniffles) I know. I know. You both are the best friends I have ever had.

Stephen(smiles): And same with you.

Josie(stomach starts to hurt) Ugh, Stephen. Can I talk to you tomorrow? I feel so sick.

Stephen: Oh yeah. Of course. Sorry to bother you.

Josie: You didn't. Goodbye.

 

 Josie sleeps throughout the next day (Sunday) and still does not feel well.
